Real Dog Rescue (Bergen County, NJ) is a group of longtime friends and animal rescue warriors who believe that every dog matters. We are dedicated to helping dogs in need, regardless of breed, age, location, medical conditions, or any other circumstance that may force some rescues to turn away. Real Dog Rescue believes that wherever there is a need, we should help, so long as we have the ability and resources to do so. Some of our immediate goals are to save as many dogs as we can, increasing our foster base in order to save more lives, helping shelters most in need not only in our own areas but anywhere that really needs assistance, community outreach, spay/neuter initiatives. Longer term goal would be to eventually have a facility in order to be able to save even more lives.

Best Friends Animal Society – A national animal re-hab / rescue. They have a large ranch where forgoten and “disposed” of animals of many types are bought and given a safe loving home to live out their lives or best case scanerio, to be adopted
